IUC 2008

Intergraph Australia User Conference 2008 (IUC 2008) brought together Intergraph customers and partners from corporate Australia, the government, utilities and public safety sectors. The theme was national security, with special focus on homeland security and Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP). CIP is an emerging issue that can affect government, utilities, corporate and privately owned assets as well as airports, dams and transportation infrastructure. In an era plagued with man-made and natural disasters, well-planned security measures are of the utmost importance if Australia is to protect its citizens and safeguard its businesses. IUC 2008 also offered an environment for you to exchange ideas and discuss industry insights with your peers and Intergraph’s technical experts.

Venue

The Crowne Plaza Hunter Valley (New South Wales) located in premium Australian wine country. Conference attendees had full use of the Crowne Plaza’s five star meeting and conference facilities. The venue’s accommodation was of equal quality with various leisure activities on offer at the Crown Plaza during the conference, such as a game of golf at the magnificent 18-hole Hunter Valley Golf and Country Club. And, for pure relaxation, some guests enjoyed the conference facilities spa.
